I find his modeling to be superb and his techniques easy to follow. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the many facets of adding scenery to any layout.

LincolnDecember 13, 2009Currently I list Pele among the tops in realistic sceney techniques, along with Paul Scoles, David Fray (and Bob Hayden). Pele's book is a great read, with techniques for the beginner to the advanced, and the important techninque of doing this for realism in a small space (depth or length). This book is among the best for the modeler.

Soeborg. My first impression, once again, is : WOW! That is a great book! Lots of how to text about the techniques he use, written in a simple English that everyone can understand. All this text is supported with A LOT of pictures. The picture are big enough and the quality is crisp and clear. And the feature that gave my the extra pleaser of reading, is that the writter included a list of the products he used... Being in the hobby for many year (as an owner of an hobby shop and a modeler) this is a rare feature that beginer and advence modeler enjoy the most. As a teacher know, I grade this paper with a : A+ ! Regards...
