I have no problem with the shifting and no problems with the mixtures screws and i recomend running 25% nitro fuel makes it have a quicker throttle response and faster top end speed.

Exceed RC 1/8 Monster Truck MadBeast Nitro Gas RTR .28 Level Engine Black/Red Versionstar rating 3mike treppDecember 6, 2009I only give this truck three stars because of 3 reasons. the first reason is that the people in the factory screwed up the mixture settings. the high speed needle was so rich that if i took the glo igniter off, it stalled. the low speed needle was so lean that it was 1/4 of a turn from being max lean. the second reason is it wont shift. the problem is the ball in the shift clutch. it is too small for it and jams the clutch up. the third reason is how much play is in the steering. this causes the dogbones to pop out. besides for those 3 flaws, it is a very good truck. nothing has broke.
