I always saw them almost as a separate type of modelling altogether and something of a black art. The ongoing articles I have found in Finescale Modeler encouraged me to finally give it a try and I have had encouraging results. Figures are now a consideration with any new project and while I don't consider myself a figure modeller of any real calibre, my figures are now of sufficient quality that they don't look glaringly unrealistic or out of place on my models. I have a reasonable library of issues of FSM with many figure painting articles. The beauty of this ebook is that it brings so many of them all together in one place. I can browse several related articles at once without having to scour the printed mags to find the articles I am looking for. This one fact justifies the asking price.
Paint modern military figuresstar rating 5Alfredo Castillo, SR.December 12, 2009To me, this article has a 5 star rating, I'm a 58 ys old person and I've been scale modeling since I was 7 or 8 ys old and an article like this one is never outdated. Painting camouflage patterns on 1/35 scale figurines is quite a demanding task on detail and a help like this is always welcome. Keep up the good work gentlemen and supply more articles like this one.
