Peppermint Oil, 4 ozstar rating 5Becky ThompsonMay 2, 2006I've grown up using peppermint oil and LOVE it! Apply it generously to exterior wounds after cleaning them. If applied within an hour of the injury, usually it will not hurt (it only hurts if there is already infection), also, if applied liberally a few times during the first day or so of the injury, most of the time there will not be a scar (this has been my experience).
