I'm not really sure how it could be better for the price. Very sturdy and easy to assemble. And I like the jointing feature if needed. Just as nice as tables I have seen at twice the cost!!

I was a little nervous about the RTD brand, and I knew bench dog. I decided to get this one since the price was better and the features were the same. It turns out to be a good choice, the cabinet is well made and I ended up mounting it on a small stand in the corner of my shop. I took the extra money I saved and bought some bits, so I am ahead of the game.
RTD 1200 Mini Cabinet Bench Top Router Tablestar rating 5TonyApril 14, 2010Assembly was straight forward with no surprises (I hate surprises) I was considering buying the bosch table because it had a switch, but this one had a lot nicer features than the bosch. I really like the fence, it seems much more beefy. I am using a Porter Cable 892 Router with the table and it works great. This is a great product for a hobbyist like myself.

To do so would have meant trying to buy all the pieces individually or buy the kit that RTD has. It really was not about the components for me, but about time. Once I got the table I knew I did the right thing. To build this cabinet with all its cool details would have taken me much longer. I really like the fence that came with it, it allows me to do all sorts of adaptation. Right away I took the fence extensions off and copied them to make a bigger fence for doing some larger panel work. This worked awesome. I also am using my porter cable 690LR router with this table, I followed the guide and video on the site to install it to my router, very easy and straightforward. I really cannot imagine finding a better more stable table out there, I highly recommend it.

I saved some nice cash by buying this over the bench dog. There is a lot of room in the cabinet, I may modify mine with a shelf and some modified dust collection.
