Router Table Insert, Deluxestar rating 3Josh BMay 29, 2011I was not as crazy about this insert as I thought I would be. I like the rings but i noticed some bow in the top. I then read the article that you should not use it with a 3HP router,(which i did) and you should not store it in the table (which I did), so I chaulked that one up to NOT reading the directions. Went ahead and bought a metal one to replace it with.
Router Table Insert, Deluxestar rating 5George SOctober 18, 2010I guess in light of all the aluminum inserts out there, these are just "ok", the price saves me some money since I am not ready to buy aluminum yet.
Router Table Insert, Deluxestar rating 5Al S.October 13, 2010Its not the best insert out there, but it gets the job done well for my needs. I really did not need aluminum so this is good for what I do on the router table.
Router Table Insert, Deluxestar rating 4Ron B.March 8, 2010I did something a little different, I flush mounted my insert permanetly in the table. I saw the four countersunk holes and just happended to have an old Freud router that lets me do above the table adjustments. So I screwed it down and it does not move even though my insert hole was slightly too big. (my mistake)
Router Table Insert, Deluxestar rating 5Jeff GarMarch 8, 2010Installed my Rigid router to this insert and made my own table. If Home Depot or Rigid would make one of these I would have bought it. Pretty simple, I found the directions in the directions area but at first I did not see them. I guess they are trying to be "green"
Router Table Insert, Deluxestar rating 5James JMarch 8, 2010I bought two of these for the shop so I would not have to juggle between routers. One I drilled for a 7518 porter cable and the other for a DeWalt 618. Both were easy installs, working fine.
