I know that it is made for interior only but I modified it for exterior and it has been working for the past 4 years securing a gate from the damage of high winds or vandals.

These lock have to be very precisely lined up when installed and WILL require future adjustment to lock fully. Great idea with the small footprint but not completely sold on it for the long hall yet.
