Stevia White Extract Powder, 1 oz

Stevia White Extract Powder, 1 ozstar rating 5MarkJune 5, 2008This stevia is the best I've tried in 25 years of using stevia. I even have the original, dried green leaf powder that was used in the '80's. And, I don't get side effects (like eye problems) from it that chemical sweeteners cause. Up until three years ago, most extracts had a licorice aftertaste. Not anymore! Out of 8 stevia factors, glucosyl-stevioside is the sweetest. The best stevia is 80% or more. I called NOW Foods and asked them to be sure.  You can shake or spoon it out of cap or use the tiny scoop/spoon with it which is 1/32 of a teaspoon. I used a milligram scale at work to measure it. A level scoop is approximately 60 mg (milligrams). I often combine stevia with some other low glycemic sweetener such as fructose.

Stevia White Extract Powder, 1 ozstar rating 5CenaApril 25, 2007This product is great. It disolves easily in hot or cold liquids. I juice a lemon, add water and a scoop of stevia for lemonade. Also treat grapefruit the same way...good cooling off beverages. Also good in hot or iced tea.
