It is too wide for my door between the space covering the lock and the door opening, so has to be carefully dropped down while opening the door handle in order to keep it from breaking while opening/closing the door. I purchased it because I have had alot of problems with (battery) door locks getting hit by rain, and batteries rusting/beeping as a result. I purchased two, and have not yet installed the second to see if it works out better, but I think that it could be offered in two sizes, a narrower version would have been better for this manual push button lock purchased at the same time.
