Airfield RC A6M Zero Ready to Fly 6 Channel Warbird 1450mm Wingspan (Green) RC Remote Control RadioWayne RhodesMarch 6, 2015If it is Airfield then you can rest assured that it is the best RC bird out there and for the price!! they are truly outstanding. My friend at the club has one just like this one, I brought my ARF 1450MM P-51 Mustang out for it's maiden flight. Anyway after I got it up and back down I was very impressed with the Mustang. Anyway Jeff wanted to fly my P-51 right after I had put a brand new 3300 lipo battery fully charged and ready for the 2nd flight. Trust me I never ever would allow anybody to fly my airplanes and my brand new Mustang? We have been friends since junior high school, he is a pilot and works at our local airport as an flight instructor and flight school teacher. He owns a Lear Jet and a piper cub. Anyway I trust him with my life flying with him in his Lear Jet I have even flown it in airborne cruse flying. Anyway I said yes so he flew my big 57" wingspan Mustang and I like wise flew Jeff's brand new Airfield A6M Zero. What an amazing airplane! I cannot find anything bad to say about the zero. The landing gear retracts are really special with that split brake away from the wing. He installed a gyro on the Zero and my Mustang like wise has a gyro installed. The Japanese Zero and the p-51 needed no trim adjust what so ever. It was very windy at our field where we all fly. With the gyro turned on, you can rest assure you would never know the light plane was even in the wind at all. When you take off you start out really slow and once you have some good speed you can open the throttle up with the right rudder but only minor rudder needed to pull out straight. It will clime vertical as to go out of site before it will stall out. I had started my straight up flight at around 350 feet high to start my climb, it is not unlimited but still it looked like a small dot when it finally stalled out. She feel over on her left side without any spiraling tendency or death roll. But she needs quite a bit of speed to regain control actually depends on the weather for that day or the wind speed. I will order my A6M Zero tomorrow. What a nice L@@KING! warbird, She does what she is supposed to do and very well indeed. You would be deranged not to own one of these giant scale Zero's! Get you one at Nitroplanes for sure, Pilot's happy flying!
Airfield RC A6M Zero Ready to Fly 6 Channel Warbird 1450mm Wingspan (Green) RC Remote Control Radiod clipnerMarch 13, 2013wiring for flaps and gear had been twisted so tight that it took me another hour to get it right. Thanx to Jeff on his build of the zero I used his advise turned out good. Suggest you have some experience with tail dragger type aircraft. It flies very good. just stay a little ahead of the flight and watch the winds. I balanced its self very good didnot have to move anything. I have 13 hours of real flight time with real aircraft so I flew it just like I did..
